I’m a 37 year old Latino with an insatiable sense of curiosity. After growing up in Orange County, I went off to college to study… well, everything! I must have switched my major 8 times. My curiosity inspired me to explore every possible career path that was remotely interesting and, as a result, has given me a very well-rounded perspective on life.

That same curiosity extends to my interpersonal relationships. I want to know about you, your story, and what makes you tick, so come up and say hi if you see me - let me know about the things you care about.

I wrapped up college and earned my degree in Engineering with a minor in music. My wife and I moved to Vista in 2019 so she could start her dream job in the San Diego area. While house hunting, we toured homes in Oceanside, Vista, and Escondido but nothing came close to the feeling of home we got in Vista. For such a large city, it felt like a small, community-oriented town with a southern style of hospitality. I still feel that way today.

Today, I work as a software Product Manager at a public safety technology company leading incredibly talented development teams. We build products that help solve for safer communities everywhere. My passion for public safety and service comes as a direct result of working with amazing state and local government leaders across the country. This also means that I deeply understand the difference between leveraging technology to further public safety and violating citizen privacy with AI-driven mass surveillance.

Additionally, I’ve proudly started a business based in Vista. I can’t wait to share more information about that new venture after we launch.

Right now, it’s me, my wife Holly, and our pup Rusty but I’m so excited to grow our family in this little slice of paradise we call home.
